ANNOUNCEMENT

Blogging world,

I'm sorry I've been non-existent for  a little bit of time now, I have a lot going on and honestly, sometimes it just gets hard to juggle it all. I'll get into more of that in another post because right now I have a BIG announcement.....

Hunter and I are going to Europe.

NEXT WEEK.

HOLY MOLY! Talk about impulsive, right? We've been talking about going for almost 2 years now, and 2 weeks ago we finally did it. We booked our flights, our hotels the whole sha-bang. We are definitely embracing being students and having a spring break. And let me be the first to say, I need a mental and physical vacation more than ever, especially with my sweet dude.

So, Paris and Rome, here we come!!!

We leave Thursday, any advice or suggestions would be extremely appreciated.
I'll post more on this later this weekend, I can't even contain my excitement.

Oh, and I wanted to say a BIG thank you to the most amazing best friend I have EVER had, that has been by my side since we were 15 years old, who continues to help me grow and see just why things happen. B, thanks for listening to me whine, and moan about school, and the struggle of finding what makes me happy. I appreciate you more than you could ever know.

I wanted to share a verse from my daily devotional app, it really touched me and I hope it touches you.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend, relax and enjoy EVERY second.

  1. ris! so excited for you and hunter! you are never going to want to come home...

in paris you must go to rue cler, it's a street in the 7th arrondissement filled with markets and little cafes and it is so cute! i think it will give you a glimpse of true parisian life. any of those restaurants are delicious for lunch or dinner. have a croque madame for me! also, a visit to la duree for macarons is a must (raspberry or orange creme were my favorite)!! the one on champs elysee is not the original, but it is absolutely beautiful! a dinner cruise on the seine may be a little costly but it's a beautiful way to see the city. i highly recommend it! also, i am sure everyone will tell you this but beware of pickpockets. i cannot stress enough how important it is to have your eyes and hands on your bag and pockets at all times, especially on the metro. those gypsies will do anything for a buck!

i was only in rome for a day so i don't know much about it- but go somewhere, anywhere and order cacio e pepe. you won't regret it.

    enjoy!
