Happy New Year!

2012, you brought me:

1. Living with the best roommates I could imagine. Oh Sherwood shack, I miss you.
2. Learning that building forts in your living room is good for the soul.
3. Finally learning that what others have to say about me has absolutely NO effect on my life.
4. Accepting the fact that those who want to be in your life will make the effort.
5. Putting into action- "You get to choose the people you have in your life, so why choose crummy ones?"
6. My brother and sister-in-law back to Florida (even though we no longer have anyone to visit in North Carolina, I'm SO happy you babes are back)
7. A college Graduation
8. Starting graduate school
9. Meeting a few new friends in this program (one in particular, my long lost soul sista: Love you Megan!)
10. Learning to compromise- oh hey, long distance relationships.
11. Falling more in love with the most amazing guy I have ever met- every single day.
12. Acceptance of the best accessory: Dog hair on every outfit.


My new years resolution this year is not to work out, stop cursing, stop eating junk food or any of that nonsense. It's simple, but challenging, real but life changing; I'm going to be more positive, in everything that I do. Wish me luck people.

Hunter and I spent out New Years in Savannah, GA. AKA the most beautiful city in the history of, oh I don't know, ever. We were there for four days with my best friend and her husband, and I really don't think I could have hand written a better way to ring in the new year  (pictures from our trip are coming soon). I hope your year is full of happiness, forgiveness, faith, and wine, lots of wine.
